  1. Autronics Ltd does offer a free inspection service for your device. This is to “only” inspect the device initially. However, if a “repair attempt” is required it is to be discussed with the customer prior to proceeding.

  2. All repair attempts incur in a surcharge*.

  3. If a device repair is estimated ¾ of the total price of the same device bought new, it will be deemed “Not worthy of repair”.

  4. A maximum of two hours are to be spent on a device to estimate a quote/repair attempt by Autronics Ltd.

  5. The customer is to be charged a maximum of two hours for diagnosis and or repair attempt despite the repair exceeding two hours.

  6. A deposit maybe required by the customer before Autronics Ltd proceeds with ordering the part. 

  7. A final price of repair is to be provided after an inspection or a repair attempt. The final price is to be discussed with the customer prior to be proceeding.

  8. Customer is to notify Autronics Ltd of any previous repair attempts or if the device has been tampered with by an un-authorized person. If it has, a quote will be provided to the customer shall they want to proceed with the repair.

  9. Autronics Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage to accessories whilst in Autronics Ltd possession. Autronics Ltd is only responsible for the “repair they carry out”.

  10. The customer “must” let Autronics Ltd know of any existing faults within the device for repair. Any other existing faults are to be outlined by the customer prior to the repair. Failure to do so may initiate immediate termination of repair and the device to be returned back to the customer.

  11. Autronics Ltd takes no responsibility over any other development of faults after initial repair. If the fault over-lays and links to the initial repair, Autronics Ltd will do their best to appropriately amend.

  12. Autronics Ltd in conjunction with the customer must accurately fill out the repair form to their best of knowledge. The repair form is to be signed by both parties agreeing for the repair to be carried out.

  13. Customer must accurately explain the condition of the device i.e. liquid damage, impact damage, drop damage etc.

  14. In a situation where the Autronics Ltd warranty labels are noticeably tampered with, the warranty will be declined and a quote will be provided to customer if they want to proceed with the repair.

  15. The parts used during the repair service provided by Autronics Ltd shall be of highest quality. The parts are to be sourced from verified suppliers in NZ/AU and abroad. All parts must be tested before installation.

  16. In the event the final estimation is not agreed by the customer within 5 days, the customer will be expected to collect the device in "as is condition" unless stated otherwise.

  17. Priority is given to the order in which the devices are received. However, express service is available but will incur in extra charges due to prioritizing the item over others.

  18. Payment for repaired/repair attempted must be paid for in full before customer delivery.

  19. Autronics Ltd shall make all efforts to ensure that device is repaired within (5) days from the date of the receipt of faulty device. (Except parts on order)

  20. At times however, due to non-availability/shortage of critical spare parts or complicated fault, the repair turnaround time may increase. This is to be discussed with the customer.

  21. Customer is expected to share the screen lock, pin, password and device lock pass code when required.

  22. Autronics Ltd ensures that the security pin is not to be shared. It is the customer’s responsibility to change the device pin after the repair.

  23. Autronics Ltd provides a 30 day warranty period and only covers the parts replaced.

  24. Autronics Ltd does not take responsibility for data loss/corruption.

  25. Autronics Ltd reserves the rights to decline a repair based on the situation.

  26. Autronics Ltd does not accept foul behavior from the customers. If faced with this, Autronics Ltd reserves the rights to decline the repair.

  27. Autronics Ltd will not accept any stolen devices or attempt repairs on stolen items.

  28. Autronics Ltd does not provide any warranty on devices that have previous store repair attempt.

  29. Autronics Ltd does not provide any warranty on liquid damaged repaired devices.

  30. Autronics Ltd must test a device prior to commencing a repair to outline charging status, overheating, turn on status, button functions, and existing damages to the exterior etc.

  31. Autronics Ltd will not be held responsible for any damages caused by the mishandling of a device by the customer.

  32. Items sent to recycle: All items not claimed within 60 days once a quote is issued or a repair job is completed will be send to recycling or sold to offset costs.

  33. Shipping/Courier Policy: Any loss during the shipping is not the liability of Autronics Ltd.

  34. Autronics Ltd makes sure to use the best choice of shipping to return a device back to the customer. 

  35. Any loss or damage to the item is to be directly claimed through the courier service under the courier claims policy.

  36. If a device is received in a state that is damaged during the shipping, Autronics Ltd will inform the customer and lodge a claim with the courier company.

  37. Any damaged parcel will not be accepted by Autronics Ltd.

  38. Any severe damaged packaging “will not be accepted” by Autronics Ltd and immediately returned to the customer by the same courier provider.

  39. Shipping cost of devices must be paid by the customer (Sending and Receiving).

  40. By agreeing to terms of conditions, Autronics Ltd aims to provide the best service possible wherever and it is deemed that the customer also agrees to all the terms and conditions enlisted above.
